Epic Food Event in Denver!

Posted by on

You guys. This is big. Back in 1989 Carlo Petrini and a group of activists in Italy started a resistance group in opposition of a planned McDonalds opening near the Spanish Steps in Rome. Rumor has it they stated that they didn't want fast food, they were quite happy with slow food. The groups initial aim and resulting manifesto is to "defend regional traditions, good food, gastronomic pleasure and a slow pace of life."

Today, 20 years later, this group has spread its values worldwide with thousands of projects and resulting projects, like the Good Food organization we are part of.

This is OG food revolution, folks...and they are coming HERE, to Denver, THIS WEEKEND. July 14-16  And we are part of it. We couldn't be more thrilled. We are so excited that we are launching our new collaboration flavor Piñon Cherry Deliciousness at this event!

We will be alongside 100+ vendors in the Taste Marketplace on July 15/16 in Larimer Square. Vendors from all over the US..not the same ole vendors you see every time. :) There will also be an outdoor culinary stage, family-oriented gardening and cooking activities, block parties, roundtable discussions and more. Our new friend Rachael Mamane who we coincidentally met in Oaxaca through a mutual friend who lives here in Denver, will be speaking about her book "Mastering Stocks & Broths", get tickets here.

Seriously all you foodie folks..do NOT miss this!
