This very special flavor is a collaboration between Oaxaca, Mexico and Denver, Colorado USA; between the talented chef & restauranteur Eduardo Vera Morales of Atila Del Sur, and RedCamper. We are so, so excited for you to try this incredible merging of cultures. 

If you know RedCamper, you know we were founded on the ideal of travel and exposure to other cultures as being the keystone to who we are. If you really know RedCamper, you know it all started in the back of a pickup truck with a red camper bouncing along the roads of Central America in my formative years. One of those places being Oaxaca, Mexico. Many years later, with a desire to return to this place, a desire to connect with a culture that honors and values heritage ingredients, and also is the center of Mexican cuisine, along with my desire to reconnect with myself, I did return. And again. And again. In those returns I met an incredible chef at a restaurant I frequented, and I suggested we collaborate, "Lets combine our strengths, our cultures, our best ingredients into a preserve", I said. Then he said, "Sure, sounds fun.", luckily in English, as my Spanish is still, muy malo. And so we did. READ THE FULL STORY HERE.



Piñon Cherry Deliciousness. Sweet, nutty, smokey and a little bit of heat, this flavor is super complex. Made from organic Colorado Cherries from our partners at 1st Fruits, imported Oaxacan chilis, burnt corn tortillas, roasted wild harvested New Mexican piñon nuts from our partner Piñon Penny, roasted almonds from California, organic thyme, and fresh squeezed Mexican lime juice all come together in a collaboration of passion for food and culture from the Rocky Mountain region of the United States and the heartland of Southern Mexico, Oaxaca. A merging of smokey Oaxacan cobblestone streets echoing with fireworks, calendas and steam whistles couple with the heartland of Colorado organic, multigenerational farming; the serene North Fork valley cherry orchards of Paonia, Colorado.
 
Ingredients: Colorado organic cherries, Oaxacan Chili Anchos & Chili Pasilla Criollo, New Mexican piñon nuts, California almonds, burnt corn tortillas, fresh squeezed lime juice, thyme, pure cane sugar, non GMO pectin and fresh Colorado water.
