While the tail end of the harvest season makes us a little bit sad every year, the bounty of pears, plums and apples take the edge off the cool nights and crisp mornings. We mix organic pears, from our partner First Fruits in Paonia, with fresh ground baking spices (nutmeg, cardamon, and clove) and organic currants. The end result is somewhere between a pear nectar and a cinnamon roll. Warm and toasty. Our Harvest Pear & Currant is saucier than the rest of our flavors, but that makes it perfect for pouring over hotcakes, mixing into oatmeal or sweetening a hot toddy or tea. We close our our seasonal production with this flavor, saying goodbye to the seasonal summertime production and bundling up for winter. It's a sweet send off.
