We posted some teaser images..but here is the whole shebang.

Our custom painted backdrop of our camper in the great outdoors was done by our good friend, the fantastic fine art painter, Lisa Kowalski. Be sure and check her work out, it's nothing like this, true testiment to her skills.

We also had the sounds of the wild, which were done by another good friend, Ryan Policky of Late Night Weeknight, and A Shoreline Dream. Hear the awesome track of day to night, birds to crickets and howling wolves, here. (60Mb download..be careful)

Well, 4 months of stressing, and designing, and building, and crying, and cursing, and shipping, and stringing, and rearranging, and standing, and sitting, and freezing, and laughing, and crying, is coming to an end today. Man, that was fast. By the time you read this, we are going to have survived our 2nd NSS show. We wanted to share with you our favorites..some old friends, and some new friends.

Fawnsberg

Fawnsberg. Look at these girls. Look at that booth. 2nd show. They were kitty corner from us last year and we were blown away by how put together this family team was. And they did it again this year. Not only are they really, really good at what they do, they are seriously the nicest people you will ever meet. Seriously. Sisters, mom, dad..nicest, people, EVER.  Patricia and Rachel, you awe us. Seriously.

Fawnsberg

Next up..Fugu Fugu Press. Ken and Shino, class act, veterans. We learned a ton from them our first show and they have been ever so kind to RedCamper, sharing resources and assisting us in ways they probably don't realize. On top of that, they do great work. Letterpress with original designs, this duo in our book is what every letterpresser should be.

Fugu Fugu Press

McBitterson's. Jenny..she is right next door to us, we hope she likes us enough to continue being friends, because we think she's pretty cool. And damn funny. Oh yes. We love McBitterson's over here at campsite #1563. Awesome job there Ms. McBitterson. And thank you for the nutty bar. And also for not getting mad when we helped squirrel take his photo from his viewpoint.

McBitterson's

Fisk & Fern. We look at your aprons from afar and wonder..do we want eggs..or bacon? Both, probably both.

Fisk & Fern

Max & Bunny. No, that's not Max or Bunny, but they are 2 more of the nicest people ever. Must be something in the water in New York. Why are you all so nice? Another 2nd year veteran, Rebecca, just like us and Fawnsberg, is duking it out in the NSS show, trying to bring that dream to life. We think her matching envelopes and gift wrap are awesome.

Max & Bunny

Last but certainly not least, Screech Owl Design. This one woman show run by Jacqueline is pretty darn impressive, this gal is rocking it out and what you can't see behind that demeur smile and large wooden podeum is that she is doing this show solo, 7 months pregnant, with rock solid in mind and body. Such a pleasure to meet Jacqueline we hope we can be friends.

Screech Owl Design

So, old and new friends, thank you for sharing the 2012 NSS show with us. We admire and respect you all.

I, have wanted to see the Highline park since the day I heard about it being planned. So fascinating to me, a park on former train tracks running above the ground in the middle of New York City. So amazing to me. I wished I had gotten to see it before it's wild roots and tangled mess of trees and bushes was tamed into a finely curated collection of flowering plants, tall grasses and grey rocks..it was worth the wait though. A perfect end to a tough day, I'd walk that highline park everyday if I lived here.

Well..this was last week, when we sent our first ever crate off to New York for the National Stationary Show. Some how, someway, we managed to get our Craigslist special box filled withour stuff, including 2 dead trees, packed and sent off in a truck headed to NYC. Mark packing and Halle in her usual supervisory station.

Wouldn't be a RedCamper roadtrip without red suitcases.

Nearly fell off the truck before we even started but our Motorhead listening driver had it under control. Goodbye crate..see you on the other coast.

It's getting down to the wire..we have to ship this booth we have been working on for 3 months off to NYC in 11 days for the National Stationary Show. Oh yes, 11 days. Here is a sneak peek of our backdrop being handpainted to fit our "RedCamper is from the backwoods" camping theme this year. We are THRILLED and can't wait to show it off. Booth 1563..drop on by.

We are getting ready to head to our second National Stationary Show in NYC in May. This time we are going big time and actually shipping things in a crate. That will get picked up by a truck, that will drop it off at the dock and bring it to our booth. This is drastically different than last year when we showed up with 8 red suitcases, a roll of wood panel contact paper and print outs of all the Goodwills and Salvation Army's in Manhattan. Yes we are serious. We might retell this story for humor sake. Now that all the pain has worn away. For now..lets appreciate this $40 craigslist special. Thank you Bernie!
